Our WIC educator can give you information on many topics. She can help you 'shop smarter' so you can save money at the grocery store. She can teach you how to grind your own baby food. She has a lot of information on nutrition (of course!) She also has many different recipes for you to try! Our educator is very knowledgeable about breastfeeding, and she can answer any questions you may have.
Breastfeeding Class will be offered at the North Platte Recreation Complex. The 'class' is an informal gathering for moms who currently breastfeed and for mom's' to be' who want to learn more about breastfeeding techniques and benefits. This class is provided free of charge by WIC Nutritionist Jessica Furmanski and Sheelagh Lucas.
Classes will begin October 13th thru February 9th from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, every 2nd and 4th Monday for 8 weeks.
